About The Position

The Department of English at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1131 J00, Effective Business English, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course focuses on the development of written communication skills, including a review of grammatical usage, basic principles of composition, and analysis of effective business prose. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The hiring process will adhere to the current APTPUO collective agreements.

Requirements

• Ph.D (English)
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
• Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
• All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.

• Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
