About The Position
The University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Finance position. The school is committed to developing socially responsible leaders with a global mindset through values-based education and innovative research, aiming to advance sustainable and ethical business solutions. The Knauss School of Business offers academically rigorous and relevant programs that are AACSB accredited. The Knauss Center for Business Education is a 120,000-square-foot hub for innovation, collaboration, and values-driven leadership, featuring cutting-edge technology and active learning classrooms. The faculty is a dedicated community of scholars committed to educating students, remaining active scholars, and fostering a culture of mutual respect and shared purpose. The Department of Finance and Real Estate has 16 full-time faculty members and offers BBA, MBA, MS Finance, and MS Real Estate programs.
Requirements
- PhD (or ABD near completion) in Finance from an AACSB accredited program prior to the start of appointment
- Maintain a record of scholarly achievement in field-specific, peer-reviewed outlets
- Dedication to teaching excellence and service in a liberal arts environment
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
- Official education transcripts for degree verification purposes
