The University of Florida Warrington College of Business is seeking to hire a Full Professor of Finance to hold the Bank of America Chair. The successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in enhancing the research environment of the Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate and the college as a whole. Responsibilities include mentoring doctoral students and contributing to the department’s intellectual community. Teaching duties will primarily be at the graduate level and come with an attractive teaching load. The position will be begin in August 2027. The ideal candidate will have a record of impactful, highly cited research in top-tier finance and economics journals sustained over time. The position requires an active research agenda and recognition as a leading scholar in the field. A Ph.D. in finance or a closely related discipline is required, along with demonstrated teaching experience at the graduate level. Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2027 with the possibility of reopening if the position remains unfilled.
