About The Position
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor-in-Residence within the School of Nursing. This role involves teaching nursing courses, collaborating on course development, utilizing teaching resources like WebCampus/Canvas, providing student supervision, and participating in school, university, professional, and community service activities. The School of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited programs leading to BSN, MS, DNP, and PhD degrees.
Requirements
- Hold a doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited College or university
- Hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada RN license
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise
- Collaborate with other faculty in course development
- Use teaching resources, such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning
- Provide student supervision
- Participate in school, university, professional and community service activities
