About The Position

Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Professional Services Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the successful deployment, configuration, and integration of our solutions for enterprise clients. This role requires a strong mix of technical acumen, project management expertise, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for customer satisfaction and a proven track record of scaling professional services teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
  • 5+ years in a professional services, customer success, or technical consulting role.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a technical team.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT environments, SaaS deployments, APIs, and integration best practices.
  • Strong project management skills; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of Professional Services Engineers (PSEs), providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture aligned with company values and goals.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent customer implementation and integration projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or at-risk projects.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to understand customer needs and translate them into implementation plans.
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off from sales to delivery and from delivery to ongoing support.
  • Define and improve delivery methodologies, templates, tools, and best practices.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team productivity, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Allocate team resources effectively across projects and adjust as priorities shift.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to support product feedback loops, revenue enablement, and customer lifecycle improvements.
  • Contribute to services packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy as needed.
