About The Position

Safely operate motor vehicles while transporting school-aged children, following all state and federal traffic laws. Drivers operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans, and wheelchair vans. The role also involves assisting students with entering and exiting vehicles, using lap and shoulder belts, and securing students safely in car seats and booster seats. Drivers communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and company staff.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have held a driver's license for at least 3 consecutive years.
• Have a satisfactory driving record with no suspension.
• Be able to pass a background check, CORI, and SORI.

Nice To Haves

• A School Pupil Transport License (7D Certificate) is preferred; the employer states it is easy to obtain and will help applicants get it.
