About The Position

McKesson is hiring a Bulk Driver Professional for its Knoxville, Tennessee Distribution Center. The role involves driving local delivery routes, building face-to-face client relationships, and supporting accurate and timely fulfillment of healthcare products. Routes are local, and drivers return home daily. The position includes on-the-job training and certification for power industrial equipment, specialized processes, and advanced automation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM and continuing until the route is complete. Available shifts may change and will be discussed during the interview. The hourly base rate is $22.14, with incentive pay of up to 10% for achieving goals and an additional 6% for stretch opportunities; incentives are paid every four weeks. Eligible candidates may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $500 after 90 days and $500 after six months of employment. Overtime pay applies to hours worked beyond scheduled time when business demand requires it.

Requirements

Have a current, valid U.S. driver’s license.
Maintain a safe driving history.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Have problem-resolution skills.
Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Frequently sit for three or more hours.
Frequently stand for three or more hours.
Successfully complete and maintain the physical requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Have at least six months of experience driving a bulk/straight truck or larger delivery vehicle.

Responsibilities

Drive local delivery routes and return home daily.
Build client relationships through face-to-face interactions.
Work efficiently during the shift to support timely and accurate shipment of products through effective order fulfillment.
Complete on-the-job training and certifications for power industrial equipment, specialized processes, and advanced automation.
Work beyond scheduled hours when required by high customer demand; overtime pay applies.
