About The Position

Safely operates motor vehicles while transporting school-aged children, in accordance with state and federal traffic laws. Operates a variety of vehicles, including sedans, minivans, and wheelchair vans. Assists students as needed, including helping them enter and exit vehicles, use lap and shoulder belts, and safely secure themselves in car seats and booster seats. Communicates effectively with students, parents, school staff, and company staff.

Requirements

• Age 21 or older.
• Have held a driver's license for at least three consecutive years.
• Have a satisfactory driving record with no suspension.
• Be able to pass a background check, CORI, and SORI.

Nice To Haves

• A School Pupil Transport License (7D Certificate) is preferred; the employer says it is easy to obtain and will help the employee get it.
