Requirements

  • Two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Five years of investigative experience
  • One year of investigative experience and a bachelor's degree
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year of investigative experience
  • Possession of a valid Class C Driver's License
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Investigations: Examine allegations involving violations of laws, rules, and regulations
  • Perform Inspections: Inspect sites to determine compliance and document findings through clear reports
  • Gather Evidence: Collect information through interviews, observations, and detailed fact gathering
  • Apply Regulations: Interpret and apply laws and standards to each investigation
  • Prepare Reports: Write complete and accurate reports that explain investigative findings
  • Support Hearings: Appear as a witness during hearings and provide testimony on case findings
