About The Position
Wag Hotels is seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join their professional behind-the-scenes squad as a Professional Bather. This role is crucial to the team and represents the front line of the business. The ideal candidate will be a genuine dog lover with excellent attention to detail, who values teamwork, reliability, and career growth. The educationally based salon offers a range of services from nail trims and baths to full-service hair cutting, as well as luxury spa services. All bathers receive comprehensive hands-on training and continued education. The position requires individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays.
- Ability to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs.
- Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Bathing experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing all bathing services offered by Wag Hotels, including baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression.
- Keeping the bathing salon clean and organized.
