About The Position

Wag Hotels is seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join their professional behind-the-scenes squad as a Professional Bather. This entry-level position offers a chance to further a career in the animal industry, caring for various animals in the facility. The role involves performing all bathing services, maintaining the cleanliness of the bathing salon, and providing world-class service to pet parents. The company mission is to provide the highest level of fun, safety, and comfort to their four-legged guests. Bathers are considered a key role and represent the front line of the business, requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays.
Ability to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs.
Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 50 lbs.
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Good work ethic and a willingness to get dirty.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions.

Nice To Haves

Professional Bathing experience.
Professional animal bathing: 1 year (Preferred)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Day Shift (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Performing all bathing services offered by Wag Hotels, including baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression.
Keeping the bathing salon clean and organized.
Providing world-class service and convenience to pet parents.
