About The Position

Wag Hotels is seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our professional behind-the-scenes squad as a Professional Bather. Our educationally based salon offers everything from nail trims and baths to full-service hair cutting, as well as luxury spa services. All bathers receive comprehensive hands-on training and continued education. As a Wag Bather, you will be responsible for performing all bathing services, keeping the bathing salon clean and organized, and maintaining a friendly, welcoming work environment. We need individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions. Bathers are a key role in our team and represent the front line of our business. An ideal candidate would be a genuine dog lover, pay excellent attention to detail, view teamwork and reliability as an important part of job success, and value career growth.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays.
Ability to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs.
Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Performing all bathing services offered by Wag Hotels, which include baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression.
Keeping the bathing salon clean and organized.
