About The Position

Wag Hotels is seeking passionate dog lovers to join their professional grooming team. This role involves providing a full range of grooming services, from basic baths and nail trims to full-service haircuts and luxury spa treatments. The position requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with all breeds and sizes of dogs. Groomers are key members of the team, representing the front line of the business and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements

1 year Professional Grooming experience is REQUIRED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays.
Ability to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs.
Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 50 lbs.
Must be available to work mornings and afternoons.

Responsibilities

Completing bathing services including baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression.
Cutting and styling fur.
Keeping the bathing salon clean and organized.
Exploring new concepts and trends in the grooming industry.
Working as a team to create a fun learning environment.
Providing customer care and satisfaction.
Handling all breeds and sizes of dogs.
Working in a standing position for long periods of time.
Reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting 50 lbs.
