About The Position

The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course API5526, Section A00, titled 'Microéconomie pour politiques publiques' during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course explores microeconomic principles and techniques applicable to public policy analysis, including consumer theory, firm theory, market mechanisms, and general equilibrium. It provides a framework for understanding resource allocation and welfare implications of policies such as taxation, subsidies, regulation, and government transfers. Requirements

Doctorat en science économique (Doctorate in Economics).
A good knowledge of government and public policy formulation.
Competence in a second language (French is the language of instruction, implying English competence is required).

Experience in teaching economics within a multidisciplinary program (i.e., for non-specialists).

Responsibilities
