About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course 'Recherche appliquée aux interventions sociales et communautaires' (PSY7502 Section A00) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course involves practical experience in carrying out applied research and program evaluation in a community agency or organization. The course is offered in-person and is taught in French, with passive competence in a second language required. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The listed rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification.

Requirements

Doctorate in Psychology / Relevant experience
Previous experience in training and / or teaching program evaluation
Completion of graduate training in applied social research methods and practices
Knowledge and skills in program evaluation
Experience in conducting program evaluation in the not-for-profit, public, and/or educational sectors
Competence in second language: Passive

Responsibilities

Teach the course 'Recherche appliquée aux interventions sociales et communautaires' (PSY7502 Section A00).
Provide practical experience in carrying out applied research and program evaluation in a community agency or organization.
Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual) without modification unless approved by the Vice-Dean of Governance.
Promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
