About The Position

This is a posting for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course ADM4746A, "L'audit dans un environnement numérique" (Auditing in a Digital Environment), offered in the Fall 2026 semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course will be taught in person. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The listed rates are for teaching and do not include vacation or statutory pay, and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification.

Requirements

MBA or Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in the field of accounting information systems auditing.
Recent professional experience in the course's subject area.
Professional finance designation (CA, CGA, or CMA).
Specialist designation (CIA, CA-IFA, etc.).
Competence in French (language of instruction).

Responsibilities

Teach the course "L'audit dans un environnement numérique" (ADM4746A) in person.
Deliver course content covering information technologies and the digital environment affecting external and internal auditors, IT-related risks, data analysis in auditing, automated data entry and real-time information, distributed ledgers, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, system reliability, confidentiality, security, integrity, availability, control frameworks, strategic watch, artificial intelligence and machine learning, system lifecycle, and information assets and intellectual property.
