About The Position

The Director, Digital Workplace & User Experience is responsible for leading our digital workplace strategy to deliver a secure, intuitive, and AI-powered employee experience. This role maximizes the value of Microsoft 365 and Copilot to enhance collaboration, knowledge sharing, and productivity—while elevating the reliability and quality of employee services, so teams can do their best work with less friction. Your role as Director, Digital Workplace & User Experience will make a difference within the team!

Requirements

  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in digital workplace, user experience, or IT service management, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Solid Microsoft 365 expertise (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange) with experience in collaboration governance and ITIL-aligned incident and request management (L0–L2, SLA/OLA).
  • Proven ability to drive adoption and change management, including the implementation of Copilot and/or Power Platform with measurable results, and comfortable addressing technical topics in a structured manner (roadmaps, milestones, risks/issues, progress reports).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to translate business needs into structured, prioritized roadmaps.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to workstation management (Windows, Intune, iOS), access provisioning (joiner/mover/leaver), and license optimization.
  • Experience in a legal, professional services, or highly regulated environment; experience with DEX tools and analytics and service reporting (CSAT, FCR, request backlog health, adoption KPIs); responsibility for knowledge management and self-service programs (knowledge base, automation, virtual agent/chatbot).

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Microsoft 365 + Copilot roadmap through adoption, enablement, and change management, including training and onboarding for lawyers and business service teams.
  • Govern Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive with clear security, lifecycle, and knowledge management practices to improve collaboration and information sharing.
  • Identify and scale AI and automation use cases (Copilot, Power Platform) aligned with legal and business workflows.
  • Assume responsibility for incident and request management (L0–L2, ITIL aligned), SLA/OLA performance, and continuous improvement through analytics, user feedback, and trend analysis.
  • Manage workstations and access (Windows, iPhone/iPad, Intune), optimize licenses in partnership with security and finance, and oversee audiovisual support for hybrid meeting rooms in Montreal and Quebec City.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into prioritized initiatives and improve services through automation and structured delivery.
