About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach MBA6620B00 - Développement des stratégies de vente des produits et services during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course explores the sales relationship through personalized selling, customer, and product strategies, applicable to both tangible products and knowledge-based services. It covers business development from referrals, sales force composition and distribution channels, organizational positioning, career development of the sales manager, and key role-related functions. The course includes sales force analysis, and student teams will apply course learnings by engaging with a client organization in a sales development project. The teaching method will be online (live synchronous), but may be modified due to health measures or other reasons. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's degree (preferably a doctorate) directly related to the course field.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience related to the course field.
  • Alternatively, must have a Canadian bachelor's degree or international equivalent and a professional designation (including, but not limited to: CPA, CFA, PMI, CMC, CRHA, CHE) including management training or substantial professional training.
  • Must have demonstrated experience (normally 5 years) in management and leadership responsibilities and career progression; or exceptionally, subject to program director approval, must have management training or substantial professional training.
  • Must have demonstrated experience (normally 10 years) in management and leadership responsibilities and career progression.
