About The Position

This posting is for a New Position as a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course 'Prix de revient' (ADM3746, Section M) during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course focuses on in-depth study of cost accounting concepts, with a significant portion dedicated to mastering cost accumulation systems for various manufacturing methods (job costing, uniform, and continuous). It also emphasizes the implications and links between studied methods/techniques and the formal accounting system within a company. The course will be taught in person and is instructed in French.

Requirements

• Hold an MBA or Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in a subject related to cost accounting.
• Demonstrate recent professional experience in the course's subject matter OR have significant teaching experience, preferably in cost accounting.
• Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) is a valuable asset.
