About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for Advanced Japanese I (JPN3901 Section A) during the 2026 Fall Semester at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Arts, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. The course focuses on conversation and composition, with reading and discussion of contemporary texts. It is an intensive practice course. The course will be offered in person.
Requirements
- Maîtrise en japonais ou l'équivalent.
- Expérience dans l'enseignement du japonais avancé.
- Bilingue (français et anglais).
- M.A. in Japanese or equivalent.
- Experience in the teaching of Advanced Japanese.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
