About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the ADM3701B - Gestion des opérations course during the Fall 2026 semester at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. The course covers the nature and context of operations management for services and manufacturing, operations management strategies and competitiveness, supply chain management, and planning, managing, and controlling operations including forecasting, integrated planning, inventory control, material requirements planning, and consumption planning. It also includes an introduction to quality management and control. The course will be delivered online (live synchronous), though the mode of delivery may change. Requirements

Must have an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in a field related to operations management.
Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the course's field.
Must have good teaching experience, preferably in operations management.
Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
Must be a Canadian or permanent resident (priority given).

Responsibilities

Teach the Gestion des opérations (ADM3701B) course.
Deliver the course online (live synchronous).
Manage and control operations including forecasting, integrated planning, inventory control, material requirements planning, and consumption planning.
Introduce quality management and control.
