About The Position

Scotbilt Homes, a division of Champion Home Builders, Inc., is hiring a full-time Production Worker to join its Production Team and build manufactured homes. The position works on a production line under general supervision, as part of a team, and is responsible for completing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. There is a specific need for candidates with exterior work experience, including siding and roofing with architectural shingles. The role performs manual labor in the assigned area, maintains a neat and clean work area, and uses tape measures, blueprints, orders, and hand, air, and electrical tools. The employee must be able to meet the physical demands of the job and pass a seven-panel drug screen.

Less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass a seven-panel drug screen.
Ability to stand regularly; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Ability to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
