Production Worker - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Unitex is searching for 2nd Shift Production Workers in Hartford, CT. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM. The role involves sorting incoming laundry, processing dry linen through folding machines, putting wet sheets and blankets into irons, and packing clean linen by customer order. Requirements
- Full time, 2:45PM - 11:15PM.
- Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly
- Performs activities as directed on the production line
- Responsible for following all safety policies/procedures
- Follows PPE/hygiene policies
- Ability to communicate clearly with management
Responsibilities
- Sorts incoming laundry
- Puts dry linen (pillowcases, towels, gowns, underpads, etc.) through folding machines
- Puts wet sheets and blankets into irons
- Packs out clean linen by customer order
