About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring a Production Worker for its Decatur, Indiana region. Under general supervision, the employee works as part of a production-line team to build manufactured housing and perform quality work at a fast, consistent pace. The role involves manual labor in the assigned area and maintaining a neat, clean workspace. Applicants must be able to pass a 7-panel drug screen.

Requirements

• Good teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow the Champion Operating Principles.
• Less than high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass a 7-panel drug screen.
• Regularly stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.

• Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing.
