About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring a Production Worker to build manufactured housing on a production line in Weiser, Idaho. Under general supervision and as part of a team, the employee performs quality work at a fast, consistent pace and completes manual labor in the assigned area. The role includes keeping the work area neat and clean, reading tape measures, blueprints, and orders, communicating with coworkers, and using hand, air, and electrical tools. Applicants must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Requirements

• Less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
• Regularly stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is desired.
