About The Position

The Production Worker performs entry-level general labor under immediate direction in a manufacturing environment. The role involves manual tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials while maintaining a safe work environment and following company policies and procedures. The worker assists with production line and area setup, checks equipment operation and product specifications, and supports operators with troubleshooting and coverage when needed. The position may be assigned to either the first or second shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at machine speed.
Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products.

Nice To Haves

0–1 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
Ability to understand written English is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up production lines and work areas according to established procedures and specifications.
Verify equipment setup and operation to achieve desired results.
Inspect products periodically during the shift to ensure specifications are met.
Assist operators with equipment troubleshooting when necessary.
Perform operator job functions when the operator is absent.
Contact management for support when problems arise and communicate issues to management.
Keep the work area clean.
Follow safety lockout/tag-out procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
Follow instructions and assist others as needed.
Understand, follow, and instruct others on GMPs.
Work safely and apply appropriate safety procedures through training, protective equipment, and compliance with safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Load, unload, lift, and move materials.
