About The Position

Goodwill is seeking a full-time Production Worker for its Maple Valley, Washington store. The role processes donated merchandise for resale, including sorting, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and pricing items in a warehouse environment. It offers experience and development skills for career advancement. Employees may need to adapt priorities to business needs and cross-train in other areas. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Desire to succeed and attend every shift.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Positive attitude.
Analytical, judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
Coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus.
Ability to read and interpret data and metrics, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Comprehensive understanding of the aspects of a Production Worker role.
Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, and high-integrity approach; problem-solving ability; positive, can-do attitude; and ability to build effective working relationships.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Attach price tickets to sale items.
Record and maintain daily production records.
Place ticketed items in appropriate transport containers.
Monitor and report supply needs to a supervisor.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and cross-train in other areas.
Inspect, clean, and repair items before pricing and placement on the sales floor.
Adapt priorities to align with business needs.
Unload sacks, boxes, and other donated items from Gaylords or donation carts and transport them to the proper processing or storage areas.
