About The Position

Serves as a Production Line Worker in all stages of production/development by performing various duties including Production Associate, Product Grade 2 Exec, FG Packaging, Case Supply Associate, and Janitor Tasks. This role requires strict adherence to standard work instructions, department procedures, and sanitation requirements to ensure product quality and minimize waste. The position involves working in a raw meat area, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with facility upkeep.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and management.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be willing and able to handle raw product.
Must be able to stand for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week.
Must be able to move about the facility.
Must be able to use hands to handle, place, control, or feel product, objects, tools, or controls.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to lift 18 lbs. constantly, up to 20 lbs. frequently and 30 lbs. and above occasionally.
Must be able to wear all OSHA PPE to work in production area.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily’s Standard Work Instructions.
Comply with work instructions for all positions including Production Associate, Product Grade 2 Exec, FG Packaging, Case Supply Associate, and Janitor Tasks.
Comply with procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Department Leads.
Understand product specification requirements to ensure quality.
Adhere to slicing specifications.
Maintain accurate records/counts as needed.
Strict compliance with sanitation requirements.
Minimize scrap at all times/ all scraps picked up from floor in your work area.
Palletize and organize boxes.
Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed.
Washing building and equipment as needed and scheduled.
Keeping all trash and items picked up.
Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area.
