About The Position

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring a dependable, experienced caregiver to provide round-the-clock care for a client in Warrensburg, MO. This role requires strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay attentive and responsive to changing needs. The position offers 12-hour day and overnight shifts. Overnight hours allow for rest when the client is sleeping, but the caregiver must be able to wake easily and provide care as needed.

Requirements

• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Confidence with hands-on personal care
• Patient, calm, and dependable
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance
• Able to pass background check and drug screen
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist with walking and mobility
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Run essential errands as needed
• Complete light housekeeping tasks
• Offer companionship and consistent supervision
• Stay alert and respond quickly to client needs throughout the shift
