About The Position

This role is for a Production Wax Assembler who will also be responsible for the hands-on training of other Production Wax Assemblers. The trainer will oversee the qualification and certification process for these assemblers and provide feedback to supervision. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong performance record and excellent communication and teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Current Production Wax Assembler Trainer certification desired or Tat's certified within 30 days.
  • Self-motivated and capable of high performance with little or no supervision.
  • Consistently rate in the top 20% in Project Team Build issues and demonstrate good work habits.
  • Free of any disciplinary action for Quality, Productivity or Behavior over the last 12 months.
  • Willing to change department assignments, work with others in more than one department, and adjust shift schedules as required by production needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions, make progress observations, and accurately record technical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and unambiguously.
  • Good facilitation skills and the ability to teach individuals and/or small groups.
  • Satisfactory attendance record.
  • Satisfactory safety record.
  • Held a Production Wax Assembler position for a minimum of 12 months during the prior 3 years.

  • Outstanding performance in prior progression through the Production Wax Assembler Training and Certification Program (does not apply to those who did not have access to the program).

Responsibilities

  • Train and certify Production Wax Assemblers, progressing them through the qualification and certification process.
  • Train employees on new skills and help them improve performance.
  • Perform module audits and evaluate employees against certification requirements.
  • Provide objective, fact-based input for performance reviews and participate in feedback sessions.
  • Create and revise training modules, written evaluations, and skills demonstration criteria.
  • Maintain records of employees and departmental progress.
  • Perform ongoing evaluations of employees and random audits.
  • Stay current on Production Wax Assembler techniques.
  • Support the maintenance of a harassment/discrimination-free environment.
