About The Position

The sub-assembly operator must be able to perform all operations and operate the equipment efficiently when making set-ups for assembly. This role involves performing all sub-assembly operations, routinely lifting up to 35 lbs, and running all jobs according to written procedures. The operator will be responsible for keeping wax melting pots filled, cleaning plugs (DS rods), and organizing supplies. Quality checks on patterns, gating, sprues, and sub-assemblies are crucial. The position requires adherence to all procedures and meeting specific efficiency standards. Recording all work performed on the daily distribution card and maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe working environment are also key responsibilities. Following all safety rules and wearing proper PPE at all times are mandatory. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
