About The Position

The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical documents, and proficiency with various tools and equipment. The position involves standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in an environment with moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate to high noise levels. Safety is paramount, and employees must adhere to all safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and job routers.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform digital outputs on work tablet.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Responsibilities

• Assembles fabricated metal products, electrical equipment and more according to directions.
• Reads documentation and drawings, then builds to those specifications.
• Uses various equipment and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
• Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; communicates needs to department manager.
• Regular, reliable attendance is required.
• May require periods of overtime or an extended work day.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
