About The Position

The Production Utility works as part of a team to safely produce quality Sargento products. The role involves checking production orders, communicating accurately, supporting food safety and quality standards, helping set up and place production equipment, and working alongside automated equipment. The employee may also use cleaning chemicals to sanitize equipment and production areas. This position is based in a refrigerated food production facility and requires working in a cold, typically loud environment with machinery, moving mechanical parts, and robotics.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED/HSED, or be minimally enrolled with anticipated completion within 12 months or less.
Be at least 18 years old.
Willingness to complete forklift certification upon hire.
Ability to learn and carry out lockout/tagout procedures as required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.
Ability and willingness to work in a cold environment.
