Production Utility
About The Position
Premium Waters is seeking a Production Utility team member at its Douglas, Georgia location. The role supports the Production Team in manufacturing bottled water while contributing to a workplace culture centered on trust, honesty, humility, integrity, candor, safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The Production Utility works with the Production Lead and other employees to organize line changeovers, produce quality product, coordinate raw-material movement, and train employees on equipment operation and sanitation procedures. The role also follows standard operating procedures, including quality checks, and supports food safety and quality objectives under the SQF System. Production-floor work requires compliance with GMP regulations and required PPE, including hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, and safety glasses. The position requires a flexible schedule as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Follow GMP regulations and required production-floor PPE, including hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, and safety glasses.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of production experience in a leadership or coordinator role.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Organize and implement line changeovers with employees efficiently.
- Work with the Production Lead to produce quality product.
- Notify maintenance when equipment problems arise and complete work orders as needed.
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials, including caps, labels, cartons, bottles, and film, with the Production Lead.
- Train employees on proper equipment operation and sanitation procedures in coordination with the Production Line Lead.
- Follow and help enforce plant GMP regulations and required PPE rules.
- Follow standard operating procedures, including quality checks and procedures for all operations.
- Meet food safety and quality objectives and the requirements of the SQF System.
- Participate in the team effort to prevent accidents and injuries and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
