About The Position

Production Utility team members support production in the backroom of a thrift store by keeping the workflow supplied and organized. They provide carts, alphas, empty trash cans, totes, and other necessary equipment to help the production process run smoothly and meet efficiency targets. The role also includes cleaning and stocking work areas, moving and organizing back stock, assisting customers with furniture carryout and incoming donations, and keeping workstations ready for the next shift. Team members may be cross-trained in other production areas.

Requirements

Be a driven team member who meets daily and weekly goals and works well in a production environment.
Be available for full-time work, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
Be available to work holidays except Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter.
Be an energetic and outgoing team member.
Work efficiently and safely with hands to process product.
Be physically able to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 75 pounds.
Be punctual and bring a great attitude, contributing to team success.

Responsibilities

Maintain sales-floor and production areas by sweeping daily and mopping weekly.
Clean and stock restrooms daily.
Empty trash cans at all workstations throughout the day.
Move and replace carts, gaylords, pallets, and bins as needed, and label back stock.
Replenish hangers and supplies for production stations as needed.
Rotate hanger caddies from cashier areas.
Use pallet jacks, carts, and other medium- to lightweight equipment properly, and organize back stock.
Assist customers with furniture carryout and assist with incoming donations as needed.
At the end of each shift, replenish supplies, sweep the floor, empty trash cans, and empty re-route totes so the workstation is clean, stocked, and ready for the next shift.
Cross-train in other areas of production as needed.
