Support the engineering team in maintaining, debugging, and repairing high-volume Automated Test Equipment (ATE), handlers, and loadboard hardware in a low-to-medium-volume final-test facility. The role provides line-side technical support, helps ensure equipment uptime, troubleshoots ATE hardware and device-under-test (DUT) board interfaces, and performs scheduled preventative maintenance to support zero-defect automotive and industrial product shipments. The technician sets up and runs production machinery, loads device trays or tubes into automated test handlers, monitors jam rates, performs basic contactor cleaning, and clears mechanical jams. The role also involves inspecting die surfaces, bond wires, and package leads under optical microscopes, recording yields and test data in MES/ERP systems, and flagging low-yield lots to quality and product engineers. SiTime notes that candidates need not meet every job requirement to be qualified.
