About The Position

The Production Test Technician performs production testing and mechanical assembly work using specialized test equipment. The role includes equipment selection, setup and calibration, helium leak testing, and troubleshooting or debugging issues to isolate defects and assist in resolving them. The technician works independently with moderate supervision and interacts with other members of the organization.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of production or related work experience.
• A.A. degree or equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Vocational or technical training, or equivalent.
• Digital and/or analog systems testing experience.
• Knowledge of transducers, mass flow controllers, regulators, and pneumatic valve components.
• Good visual and manual dexterity.
• Strong understanding of related mechanics.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Ability to interact with other members of the organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and 10-key skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Select, set up, and calibrate specialized test equipment.
• Perform helium leak testing and mechanical assemblies.
• Read flow diagram drawings.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, isolate defects, and assist in solving them.
• Work independently with moderate supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
