About The Position

The Production Test Operations Manager leads all aspects of semiconductor final test operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The role manages production personnel, test equipment utilization, manufacturing metrics, and supply-chain coordination to support customer demand and business growth. The position oversees daily production test activities across internal test sites, leads production operators and test technicians, and drives production output, cycle time, on-time delivery, and cost objectives. It monitors test yields, addresses performance gaps, coordinates across engineering, quality, supply-chain, and manufacturing teams, establishes operational KPIs, and leads continuous improvement initiatives. SiTime describes itself as the Precision Timing company. Its MEMS-based precision timing solutions are used across applications including AI datacenters, automated driving, industrial and humanoid robots, wearables, and IoT. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 5 years of experience in automated electronics or semiconductor back-end manufacturing.
Working knowledge of MES software, inventory tracking systems such as ERP/SAP, and basic MS Excel for production logs.
Strong understanding of production planning, yield management, and factory operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong operational discipline.
Ability to manage rapid production ramps and changing priorities.
Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate production records.
Dependable and accountable for meeting production objectives.
Teamwork, communication, and shift handoff skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain automated test equipment and handlers.
Knowledge of pick-and-place handlers, tape-and-reel sealers, label printers, and vacuum sealers.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production test operations across internal test sites.
Manage a team of production test operators and test technicians.
Drive production output, cycle time, OTD, and cost objectives.
Monitor test yields and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
Coordinate with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams.
Establish KPIs for throughput, yield, utilization, quality, and labor efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce cost.
