This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact the tools that revolutionise construction sites worldwide. Requirements

  • Completed DEC (Diplôme d’études collégiales techniques) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. Equivalent AEC (Attestation d’études collégiales) or DEP (Diplôme d’études professionnelles) programs in relevant technical disciplines will also be considered.
  • Up to 1 year of hands-on experience in assembly or production, ideally within electrical or optical components (This can be through education).
  • Pro at mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read technical schematics.
  • Comfortable using a command line interface e.g. Bash, PowerShell or Command Prompt would be sufficient but not essential.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 16 kg and have the dexterity needed for fine assembly tasks.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in Quebec, or be willing to relocate from within Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • If you’ve worked with optical components, that’s a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling mechanical components such as mounts and chassis and connecting electrical systems like circuit boards and power supplies, all based on engineering specs.
  • Handling the fine details, lenses, mirrors, and laser, ensuring every beam hits its mark with millimetre accuracy.
  • Running functional tests and quality checks to ensure our products deliver on performance and reliability, just like we promise to our customers.
  • Contributing to assembly improvement, with the support of our team.
  • Working closely with engineers and teammates to refine processes and meet tight deadlines.
  • Keeping detailed records of every step to improve assembly processes and maintain our commitment to quality.
