About The Position
Actylis Montreal provides a number of services for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, aimed at solving customers technical, production, stability and regulatory issues. We are a speciality GMP manufacturer and custom packager of excipients, process solutions, buffers and APIs. The production technician completes order processing activities and ensures that all orders are prepared and ready for shipment in a timely fashion. They also maintain the production area in a neat and tidy fashion. They are responsible in carrying out cleaning duties as requested.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a production technician in a GMP environment is an asset.
Responsibilities
- GMP responsibility for production activities
- Carry out cleaning duties of work area, packaging components, and equipment as per requirements outlined in work instructions & standard operating procedures
- Documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment, rooms and batches
- Follow GMP guidelines and internal procedures
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and signaling for repairs
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by following good manufacturing practices (GMP), and SOPs, complying with legal regulations, and monitoring environment
- Take initiative to identify risks and opportunities to improve and maintain product quality
- Produce and process APIs, intermediates, excipients, and other products according to pre-approved instructions
