About The Position

The Production Technician 1 supports site upkeep and plant operations by performing general maintenance and housekeeping, stocking supplies, operating forklifts, and assisting with equipment and systems according to site-specific activities. The role supports quality control, follows standard procedures and safety programs, and alerts senior technicians and leadership to product non-conformities or process variances. The technician must comply with site HSE protocols, Syngenta HSE policies, and the employee code of conduct.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Ability to work multiple shifts.
Forklift certification within 90 days.
Ability to perform manual labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
Knowledge of safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
Limited knowledge of routine maintenance procedures.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
