About The Position

The Production Technician 1 supports site operations through general upkeep, including maintenance, housekeeping, and stocking. The role operates forklifts and assists with equipment and systems according to site-specific activities. It also supports quality control, follows standard procedures and safety programs, and reports product non-conformities or process variances to senior technicians and leadership. The technician is expected to comply with site HSE protocols, Syngenta HSE policies, and the employee code of conduct.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• Forklift certification within 90 days.
• Ability to perform manual labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Limited knowledge of routine maintenance procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

• Maintain accurate production documents.
• Conduct inspections to ensure product quality.
