About The Position

The Production Associate participates in the complete processing and manufacturing of pizza dough, rotating among roles such as dough maker, dough placer, tray washer, and cross/down stacker during the shift. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and work areas, and may include cross-training in warehouse or sanitation work. The schedule is 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, four days per week, with availability required for any four days between Sunday and Friday. Compensation is $20 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work with yeast and flour products.
Successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods, climb stairs, lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform heavy pushing and pulling of product.
Ability to work in refrigerated conditions of 33–38 degrees and in environments with exposure to loud machinery when necessary.
Availability to work any four days between Sunday and Friday.

Responsibilities

Set up the production area, determine the correct batch recipe, gather and measure ingredients, and mix dough.
Obtain and maintain dough certification.
Load paper rolls into paper machines and plastic rolls into the wrap machine.
Ensure the proper shell count, remove defective thin-crust product from the line, and dispose of rejected product.
Place pre-stacked pressed product into bags when needed.
Assemble packaging boxes, place pre-packaged product in boxes, seal boxes using equipment, and load boxes onto the conveyor.
Remove packaged boxes from the conveyor, load them onto pallets, and use a forklift to transport pallets to the freezer.
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment, including dividers, mixers, mixing bowls, and hoses.
Maintain maintenance and sanitation logs.
Perform general production-area cleaning, including sweeping floors, cleaning walls, emptying dough waste containers, and potentially cleaning the silo bin.
