About The Position

Smurfit Westrock manufactures corrugated boxes and packaging products. At its Coal Center facility, the Production Team Member helps produce corrugated boxes by operating and supporting production equipment, meeting production goals, and creating quality products in a safe, team-focused environment. The role offers hands-on experience and opportunities for growth and advancement. The position is available on first and second shifts. Pay is $19.02 per hour, with a $0.55 per hour shift differential for second shift. Candidates must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to follow instructions, read production specifications, and learn new equipment and processes.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, crouch, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, handle, and operate equipment safely.
• Must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.
