Production Team Member 2Nd Shift
About The Position
Collis, LLC., a subsidiary of SSW Advanced Technologies, LLC, is a growing multinational supplier to global appliance OEMs. The company designs and sells components and systems for residential appliances, commercial refrigeration, HVAC, retail display, and home/office organization markets. The 2nd Shift Production Team Member helps assemble and prepare products for shipment by handling materials, operating production machinery, packaging finished products, and checking equipment and products to support quality production. The position is supervised and works in a manufacturing plant environment, including areas that may not be climate controlled.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Availability to work at the division Monday through Friday.
- Detailed and hands-on oriented.

- Experience in metal manufacturing companies is preferred, if the candidate has experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to the Company.
- Follow work instructions, quality procedures, and work standards.
- Interact professionally with other employees and participate in work teams as needed.
- Work overtime as necessary.
- Read routing instructions and perform work assigned by the department supervisor.
- Move, manipulate, modify, or assemble materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
- Use manual tools and production machinery as instructed.
- Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspection, or wrapping.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes and place them in designated containers according to packing standards.
- Track production on schedule boards.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Observe equipment operations, detect possible malfunctions, and notify operators; report mechanical or material issues to the supervisor.
- Separate products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used.
- Properly dispose of scrap produced during the shift.
- Complete daily production reports and hourly quality reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area according to area 5S procedures.
