About The Position

Lightweight Manufacturing, a Seaman Corporation company, is hiring full-time Production Team Members for its on-site manufacturing operation. The company produces custom architectural fabric panels and tent rental components using Radio Frequency (RF) heat-sealing technology. New team members work alongside experienced machine operators to learn the production process and develop the skills needed to operate RF equipment independently. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The role offers opportunities for advancement and long-term career development. The second-shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week; hours may vary. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour. Candidates must successfully complete drug screening and a criminal background check. The position involves physical labor, including working as a team to move large or heavy fabric panels.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be eligible to work in the United States; the company participates in E-Verify.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Basic knowledge of measurements.
Strong attendance and reliability.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must successfully complete drug screening and a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of the metric system is a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle and prepare materials by moving, cutting, inspecting, and packing them.
Support machine operation and production workflow.
Learn to read blueprints and develop the skills needed to operate RF equipment independently.
Follow established safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
Work as part of a team to move large or heavy fabric panels.
