About The Position

The Production Support employee performs a variety of manufacturing tasks in the production of hose, belt, and ducting products. Tasks may include operating equipment, handling raw materials, following build instructions, and moving product. The position reports to the Production Supervisor.

The assigned shift is 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $17.46, increasing to $19.21 after 90 days. Mandatory overtime may be required on weekdays and Saturdays. The position could potentially transition to a second- or third-shift position.

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Ability to work the assigned Monday-through-Friday shift and potential mandatory weekday and Saturday overtime.
• Ability to perform physically medium-duty work, including continuous standing, occasional walking, and frequently moving objects up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with production reporting, computers, and documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow corporate policies for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Use established setup procedures and Standard Operating Procedures for machines, tooling, gauging, and other necessary equipment.
• Use basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication to report production.
• Provide accurate production reporting.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
