About The Position

As a full-time Production Support Specialist at RTC Services, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they develop employment readiness and job skills. You will provide person-centered guidance and hands-on assistance on the production floor, support safe machinery operation, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment. The role also involves organizing and prioritizing work to meet production goals while helping the people served build skills, independence, and workplace confidence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comply with applicable rules, standards, Board policies and procedures, and established safety practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Production experience is preferred.
• Certification to perform delegated nursing tasks, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in developing employment-readiness and job skills.
• Promote independence, confidence, and workplace success through a supportive atmosphere.
• Use Individual Service Plans (Ohio ISP) to provide personalized support.
• Complete required support-service documentation and maintain accurate reports, data, and records.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients, families, customers, and collaborative partners.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks as needed if certified.
• Assist with production activities and simple machinery operation.
• Use a hand truck and/or forklift after completing required training.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
• Document clients’ time worked and ISP information.
• Supervise breaks and lunches.
• Follow applicable rules, standards, Board policies, procedures, and safety requirements, including proper use of protective equipment and decontamination techniques.
• Help maintain a safe and productive environment for people served, coworkers, and customers.
