About The Position

As a Lead Production Direct Support Professional, you'll lead by example on our production floor, working alongside adults with disabilities as they build workplace skills and independence. Through hands-on training, coaching, and encouragement, you'll help create a safe, productive, and supportive environment where individuals can grow, succeed, and take pride in their accomplishments. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or similar populations.
Experience supporting employment programs, vocational training, job coaching, or supporting others in achieving goals and developing skills.
Knowledge of Connecticut DDS regulations and person-centered practices.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lead through action, not authority.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Ability to balance compassion with accountability.
Ability to take pride in safety, quality, and getting the job done right.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Lead DSP, Senior DSP, Mentor, Trainer, Team Lead, or similar role.
Experience in production, warehouse, manufacturing, fulfillment, or vocational training environments.
CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, PMT, Safety Care, or similar certifications.
CNA certification.
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while supporting multiple priorities.
Comfortable using computers for documentation, email, and daily communication.
