Production Support Operator
About The Position
We’re hiring Production Operators for a growing, modern consumer packaged goods manufacturing facility. The facility is new, clean, air-conditioned, and growing quickly. There are multiple schedules available, and team members have opportunities to cross-train across different parts of the production process and expand their skills over time. This role offers a modern facility, variety of work across material preparation, processing equipment, and automated packaging, opportunities for cross-training to learn multiple stages of production and build a broader manufacturing skillset, and the chance to help manufacture recognizable consumer products used and recognized nationwide.
Requirements
- Proven reliability, strong work ethic, and consistent attendance
- Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and production processes
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for an 8-hour shift and safely lift/move materials as needed
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and contribute effectively as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Move, load, unload, and organize raw materials and finished products around the production floor.
- Feed materials/products into equipment and assist machine operators with production tasks.
- Perform basic quality checks and clean/sanitize equipment and assigned production areas.
- Follow safety/GMP procedures and report equipment, quality, or production issues to supervisors.
